I live in the area and routinely order the pastor tacos. Their salsa verde is straight fire on these little palate pleasers. Carnitas are good too.

Finally had the time to check out the nearby taco truck! My bf and I ordered the AL PASTOR tacos and CARNE ASADA FRIES.

The food took approximately 20 minutes to cook. It really upset me how other people after us got their food earlier than we did. Unsure what really made the food take so long.

In regards to the actual meal: I really enjoyed the carne asada fries. It came with sour cream, guacamole, jalapeños, and a good amount of asada. I think this is the most bang for your buck because you get a generous amount of avocado.

The tacos were okay... a bit too oily for us, and not as much flavor as we had wanted. It was also a bit too small.

We also tried the quesadilla that I thought was okay. I think if we ever went back, we'd only go back for the asada fries.

Open late.  Pretty good food.  Great price.

It's like little mexico in the middle of west LA. They call out the orders in Spanish and always a mexican dude line.

Don't order any alterations... it's late , they'll screw it up.

The sauces are pretty good.  If you have a spicy palette,  this one's a winner!

Late night taco trunk in Santa Monica, need I say more?  They actually do delivery orders as well!  Though I enjoyed conversation with the gentleman took my order.  They have quite a number of different protein options that you can choose from, as well as variations on how to eat said protein-- tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas, etc.  I didn't try the more esoteric meats (though they are my favorite) but their al pastor and chorizo are quite delicious.  Their salsas as solid and quite spicy, and they offer radishes and onions/carrots pickled dish (though the radishes aren't pickled).  They had a steady line while we were sitting at the two tables they have in front of the taco truck.  We will have to go back and try other menu options.  Tacos are quite cheap at 1.50 per.

Decent late night joint, I ordered a pastor taco and a vegan burrito. The vegan burrito was okay (wouldn't really recommend), and the pastor taco was pretty good. I love their sauces-- they're delicious! Good to order late at night, but quality wise there are better places in LA.
